The main symbol of this chapter was the three men linked in a wheel formation. Guido Guerra, Tegghiaio Aldobrandi, and Jacopo Rusticucci were ancient wrestlers, so their circling is much like the wrestling they would have done in their lives. The wheel that they form could be interpreted in many ways but I prefer to think o fit as the wheel of fortune. The three men are constantly turning, they cant stand still or they will be burnt, just as the wheel of fortune constantly rotates. This wheel of fortune design could represent the eternity they will spend in hell. Or the wheel of fate and politics which the men were tangled up with on earth.
